KWEA Administrative Committee
Objectives and Goals
The Kansas Water Environment Association Administrative Committee objectives are to 1) oversee and make recommendations to the Executive Board on how the Board and the Association conduct business, 2) assist with keeping policy and procedural information up-to-date, 3) ensure that everything the Association does supports its vision, mission, and strategic plan.
Constitution & Bylaws Sub-Committee
The Constitution & Bylaws Subcommittee’s objectives are to recommend proposed amendments to the KWEA bylaws to the Board and examine the bylaws to see that they are consistent with KWEA objectives and those of the Water Environment Federation (WEF).
The Finance Subcommittee’s objectives are to 1) provide a stable and sound economic base for the KWEA, 2) ensure compliance with federal and state requirements for a 503(c) not-for-profit organization, 3) provide fiscal consistency related to revenue and expenditures, iv) maximize returns on investments, and v) establish, maintain, and modify financial policies, processes, and procedures, as is appropriate.
The Membership Subcommittee’s objectives are to promote membership in KWEA. The Committee shall conduct activities to promote new members in all categories, to retain existing members, and to encourage affiliate members to become full members.
