Topics of Importance to Collection System Personnel
The KWEA Collection Systems Committee, in cooperation with KWEA and KSAWWA, is pleased to offer a workshop focusing on current issues and topics of interest about wastewater collection systems. This workshop is mainly intended for city and municipal staff and operators who have the responsibility of operating and maintaining collection systems. Attendance is also encouraged for other city officials and employees, consultants and equipment vendors.
Please join us Monday morning for lively and valuable discussions on topics that are important to collection system personnel – some new and some that seem to always be around. The workshop format features roundtable discussions on five (5) main topics. Each table includes an open forum and sharing of ideas on a specific topic. Every 30 minutes, attendees will rotate to a different table to discuss the topic set for that particular table. A continental breakfast will be provided for attendees.

- Pump Station O&M
- Collection System Maintenance and Rehabilitation
- Collection System Monitoring and Evaluation
- Administrative Duties (Source Control, FOG, Private I/I, & Budgeting)
- Safety Procedures (Including One-Call Locates, and Damage Prevention)
