Committee Objective and Goals

The Nominating Committee shall consist of the three (3) immediate living past-presidents as required by the Constitution and Bylaws, section 8.11. Supplementing the Constitution and Bylaws, the most recent Past President will serve as the Committee Chair, unless otherwise agreed upon by the Committee.

Duties

1. Responsible for those duties specifically ascribed to it by Section 8.11.1 of the Bylaws – Nomination and Election or Appointment of Officers.
2. Oversee the individual Nominating Committee subcommittees for the individual WEF awards, including the following:
   1. Life Membership Awards. Life Membership Award nominees will be provided to the Nominating Committee by the Secretary Treasurer from WEF.
   2. Arthur Sydney Bedell Award and William D. Hatfield Awards. The Nominating Committee will receive Hatfield and Bedell award nominations from Nomination subcommittees comprised of the last three living awardees for each award, and approve the nominations.
   3. All WEF award nominations shall be provided to the Secretary Treasurer at least 30 days prior to the Annual Meeting.
3. Provide a report at the Annual Meeting of the Association.
4. Review and make recommendations to the Association Board for improvements to the procedures for nomination of officers and WEF award recipients.
