Sub-Committee Chair

The Publications sub-committee coordinates all the Collection System Committee's publication needs.

Goals and Objectives

• Solicit and provide articles, announcements and nomination forms for each sub-committee for publication in the KWEA's quarterly issue of Splashings every quarter
• Prepare and distribute minutes of the Committee meetings
• Update and distribute Committee's member contact list.
• Advise each sub-committee's chairperson as to the deadlines for Splashings
• Maintain and update, as necessary the Committee's web site: www.alphasupply.net/kweacolsys.html
• Provide feature articles for awardees chosen by the Collection System Committee for publication in the KWEA Splashings
• Develop manuals of practice or training materials for KWEA members on collection system topics, as appropriate or requested

Committee Activities

1. Darrell Thornbrugh is in charge of making sure each sub-committee has an article in Splashings and will forward all to whomever is in charge of Splashings.
2. Larry Henak will contact vendors for ads in Splashings.
3. Roxann Slater DeBrecht is preparing and distributing minutes via email and fax to all committee members.
4. Fred Eisenbarth will update and distribute contact list as necessary.
5. Chris Burns will obtain a copy of the KRWA manual to determine if a similar manual would be appropriate for KWEA to produce.
